I love seeing little pieces of nature. We have lots of squirrels in my apartment complex and I always yell at my boyfriend when he drives to fast through out of concern for them. A couple mornings I&#39;ve even seen some armadillo as well. There is a very small patch of woods behind my condo. A couple of years ago a baby rabbit was hopping down the sidewalk behind my unit. I ran inside to get some carrots. Poor baby didn&#39;t even know what to do with them. It wasn&#39;t afraid of me but no matter what I did it didn&#39;t want carrots. I finally got it to eat some lettuce. It&#39;s strange living this close to town, but I have rabbits, now and then, a hawk, 2 owls and tons of birds and squirrels that now take food from my hand.Martha A.
